Brian Ehlers brings a diversified skill set of business savvy, coaching, and player development to Club OC.
Formerly of a national power club, he is utilizing that success to help Club OC and the players/parents achieve similar success on and off the court.
His intense, yet positive and honest character and training success with the athletes, makes him an increasingly popular coach in the junior volleyball community.
He has trained many notable club players who have gone on to excel in college volleyball on scholarships. He is well known for his recruiting background and numerous contacts, while helping many girls with their college plans.
He comes from a long tenure playing with the USA Men’s Junior, University Games, and National team volleyball programs, and is a 2-time trainee for the Olympics. He is a Hall of Fame inductee at Chadwick Prep School and Pepperdine-Malibu University.
Kevin grew up in Orange County his entire life. He first fell in love with volleyball in 7th grade at Oxford Academy where he would later be a First Team All CIF player his Senior Year.
He had offers to play D1 Volleyball including USC but turned it down to attend Biola University where he played on their club team. He later finished his degree at California State University, Fullerton where he obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology and currently is a Physical Education teacher at El Sol Academy in Santa Ana.
He has spent the previous 2 years teaching and coaching in the San Francisco Bay area where he coached both school and club teams. Before that he started his coaching career at Oxford Academy where he coached JV and Varsity.
Director/Head of Player Development
Mike ls the Director and Head Coach for Club OC Volleyball Academy. Mike played volleyball for Golden West College in Huntington Beach for two years. He loves playing volleyball but his true talent is in coaching. Mike has 25 plus years of coaching experience. He began his coaching career at St. Josephs and Fountain Valley High Schools. His club coaching experience began at So. Cal Juniors with Brian Gimmillaro, where he coached for 10 years. He then went to TCA for 15 years. Mike’s achievements are extensive - 3 ClF Titles, 6 Consecutive CIF Finals, 4 Consecutive Stale Regional Finals, 1 State Final, 5-Time CIF Coach of the Year, Lakewood Hall of Fame, U.S. Junior Olympic National Champion.
Dezray is the Owner of Club 0C Volleyball Academy, a non-profit organlzation. Dezray’s love for volleyball began in junior high. She extended her talent by coaching youth volleyball for the city of Cypress for two years and passed her love for the sport onto her three daughters. She is a single mom and all three daughters have played or play volleyball. Dezray’s goal for Club OC Volleyball Academy is to keep the cost down for the families that have children who have talent and potential to play volleyball, but cannot afford it.
